Nice resources! There sure already exist thousands of ideas about use cases of beacons.
I also like another of Proxima's blog posts, 5 fundamental misconceptions about iBeacons which is good to read for newly initiated as well serve as a reminder for those that are experienced.
It's important to keep in mind that most articles are about iBeacons and not beacons in general. Apple has yet to publish any specification on iBeacons so already there is fragmentation in hardware and software. This fragmentation probably won't stop even after Apple makes up their mind, at least as long as the Android (and hopefully WP) community keeps up. So there probably will be a lot of beacons that for example broadcasts more information than what iBeacons does or are supposed to do.
