BLE not detected on some phones

Hi,

I have a TI chip BLE 4.0 which I have configured as an iBeacon. I am using Radius network Locate Beacon app and your BLE scan app. The problem is that on some phones its detected and on others it is not. For instance, I have a Lenovo with Android 4.4.2 and it is detecting my beacons with both apps.

While I have a Samsung Note 3 with Android 5.0 and it does not detect the beacons with both apps.

The funny part is that my Note 3 was detecting beacons when it had 4.4.2 but then I recieved an update to 5.0 and it stopped detecting the beacons. All other bluetooth devices like headphones work fine.

Please advise.

Does it run other BLE scanning apps? Updating Android OS should pass smoothl...

That's the funny part. On my Lenovo, it is detected by every scanning app I have. But on the Note 3, it is note detected at all by any scanning apps.

What are your thoughts?

It seems the Note 3 in particular has some problems with Bluetooth. Can you try any other Android device?
