Hello everyone,
I am working on a project that is currently making a web app with python backend. We want to make it a hybrid app so we can use the bluetooth capabilities of the Android tablet without having to create a native android and native ios app.
We are planning on using Cordova. I was on a call with Gimbal and they said they don't support hybrid apps. I saw this tweet from evothings: https://twitter.com/eterps/status/596778422153682944 saying they were able to use gimbal on their hybrid app.
How was this done? Do you have any examples or any resources you can share?
Thank you,
Jessica

Gimbal beacons use the iBeacon standard, which means they will work with our generic iBeacon plugin.
You will want to read the Evothings documentation.
You may find these documents particularly interesting: the iBeacon Scan example, and the iBeacon plugin.
