Local notification not working when app is close

Hi,

I followed the tutorial on the following evothing links: https://evothings.com/hands-on-guide-to ... g-cordova/

I am developing a beacon mobile application.
Based on the link above, I install the cordova plugin add https://github.com/katzer/cordova-plugi ... ions#0.8.1 as my local notification.

Currently, the notification doesn't appear when I swipe away the app from the recent list. I've turned on my phone and the iPOD (which act as a beacon) 's Wifi & bluetooth.

Do you know the problem as to why notification are not received when the app is close (not force stop)? The notification is working well when the app is part of the recent list and i lock my phone.

Are you using Android?

When you swipe away perhaps the app is closed (not active in the background anymore)?

Yes i am developing the mobile application using Cordova, Android platform.
Yes, i guess when I swipe away the app is close. Is there a way to make the mobile scan for beacons even when app is close (not force stop)?
