Can I run the IoT portion on simulators (e.g. for Arduino, Edison, Rasperry Pi, etc)?

How?

Where can I find examples/tutorials?

I guess you could use an Arduino simulator instead of an actual device with the Evothings example apps. What you need to do is to configure the simulator to use a TPC or BLE shield and enter the address in the code or UI depending on the example app. Not tested this myself though.
