Hello everyone,
I would like to make an iOS application with cordova. I need to connect this application to a LightBlue Bean (by Bluetooth).
The connection works well when I use the EvothingsWorkbench on my Mac. Same on my iPhone when I do "cordova build iOS". I can connect to the chip. Nice.
BUT : I would like (if it's possible) that the application runs on my iPhone via Safari for example. I mean, my friend go to my website www.myapp.com and he can connect his LightBlue Bean. but it doesn't work.
I don't know if I am clear and I don't know if it's possible.
Thank you reading me,
Thomas
Question about evothings BLE
Re: Question about evothings BLE
In a while, it will be possible via Chrome for iOS to do something like this. Currently, it only works on Chrome for Android so stay tuned at the appstore. In the meantime, you can make your own browser app using Cordova, and/or download our client from github and modify it to suit your needs, or thirdly just use Evothings Viewer and enter a URL (incl. the https://) instead of the connect code in the first view - that's the easiest!
