Nearable ID and Type Monitoring Support?

Hello All!

Estimote has released the nearable stickers that support their "nearable" protocol which present Nearable ID and Nearable Type monitoring (http://developer.estimote.com/nearables/) for iOS and Android. Is there any support for this now or planned for in cordova / phonegap? I am developing an ionic application and am interested in using these devices vs. full beacons.
